Swiftship is committed to handling every shipment with care. If a shipment is lost or damaged during transit, customers may submit a claim in accordance with this policy.

1. Filing a Claim

Claims should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or the expected delivery date.

To process a claim, customers may be asked to provide:

  • Shipment or Tracking Number
  • Proof of shipment
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs of the damaged package or contents (if applicable)
  • Invoice or proof of the item’s value
  • Any additional supporting documents requested by Swiftship

2. Investigation

All claims are subject to investigation. Swiftship may consult with its logistics partners, carriers, and relevant authorities before determining the outcome of a claim.

3. Compensation

Where liability is established, compensation may be provided in accordance with:

  • Applicable laws and regulations.
  • Carrier terms and conditions.
  • Shipment insurance (if purchased).
  • The declared value of the shipment, where applicable.

Compensation will not exceed the limits permitted under applicable law or the terms of the relevant carrier or insurance provider.

4. Exclusions

Claims may not be accepted for:

  • Improper or insufficient packaging.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Delays caused by customs, weather, natural disasters, or government actions.
  • Prohibited or restricted items shipped in violation of regulations.
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
  • Items seized by customs or other authorities.
  • Perishable goods that deteriorate during transit.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

5. Resolution

Customers will be informed of the outcome of their claim after the investigation is completed. If compensation is approved, payment will generally be processed using the original payment method or another agreed method.
